Floating down the Napo River on our very first day
So very calm and peaceful
Jaime and Stephanie, our local friends that joined us for the first 4 days of the adventure
Local indigenous people are transiting the river, heading for the rainbow?
Massive trees, wild jungle
Goodbye mountains and goodbye city! From here on, the jungle is complete flat for the next 4000km
The first sunset. This daily phenomena never ceased to impress me, the Amazon sunsets truly are amazing.
Jaime is fishing as the sun is setting
Our first night: We barbequed a chicked and drunk some rum on a lonely, quiet river-beach.
